| Basic Principle of Operation |
- Activates wiper when the sensing area on windscreen
detects liquid (rain or water splashes, mud)
- Cannot be activated by any dry object (dry leaves,
cloth)
- Automatically adjusts the speed of the wiper based
on the density of water
- Wiper will be deactivated as soon as the sensing
area is dry
- Works only with an existing wiper motor in vehicle
- Can be overriden by manually adjusting the speed
of wiper
- Can be turned off when not needed (during drive-in
car wash)
- Supply voltage: DC 10 to 16V
- Operating current: 200mA
- Operating temperature: -30 to 85 degrees Celsius
- Relay current: 20A
- Type of signal: Visible light
- Wiper motor: Positive or negative trigger
- Wiper response time: 10 milliseconds
- Wiper mode: Low, Intermittent or High
- Detection sensitivity: 0.005 milliliters (water)
- Detection medium: Water, moisture, mud and any liquid
- With 10 milliseconds response time, driver can focus
on driving without having to manually turn on wiper
during sudden splashes of water
- Trailing wet car is no longer nuisance as detection
of even 0.005 milliliters of water will activate wiper
thus reducing driver's distraction
